It’s been all over the net. Nature has an article about it here. I’m skeptical, only because I don’t know what to make of this. Is it possible? Yes, of course, and I really hope it’s true, but at the same time I don’t want to get my hopes up. A lot of things have been said about Mars that have put a dampener on my hopes (such as the discovery that Mars’ oceans were likely too salty for life). So, I am reluctant to jump up and down and scream, “Victory!”
