Someone recently brought up the unusual load times for this blog, which prompted me to make some changes to the content in the sidebars. With that in mind, I was wondering if those of you who are my readers could load up the blog and let me know if you notice any lags in load time (particularly lags in parts: do the sidebars load at about the same time, or are they noticeably distanced?).

the kunoichi stuff seems to take a while, at least on the first load. When I revisit the page, it loads faster. FWIW.
I browse with Firefox/NoScript, so it wasn't that much different from other blogs till I enabled JavaScript. Something called twittercounter.com actually took the longest time to load when I did that…
Might it be the scrolling blogroll boxes on the right hand side? I haven't seen those in many other places…
hamp: They shouldn't slow things down that much, though. They're not complicated codes or anything. Just boxes. I'll look into it, though.
It's been much better since you put up this post. Still left, then right, but maybe a half-second delay as opposed to 5-10 seconds.
