Rejections

World in the Satin Bag

Rejection: Artemis

Well, I didn’t get anywhere this round in the Writers of the Future. So be it. It’s off to somewhere else. Yay! Anywho! (Don’t click the read more, there isn’t any more after this!)

Rejection: Little Blue Planet

Well, got another rejection, which is awesome, obviously. This time it was from Space & Time Magazine. I haven’t sent it off again because I’ve been busy writing two essays, which are now finished, and thinking about a third. Oh, and I’ve been working on my statement of purpose and other documents needed for graduate school. Fun. But it will go out again eventually. Anywho! Rejection: Archaeopteryx

Well, after being super excited that I got another honorable mention in the Writers of the Future Contest, I’ve been brought back down to earth by a rejection. “Archaeopteryx” is one of my flash pieces. I’m thinking of perhaps submitting it to a literary magazine next. We’ll see. So, my honorable mention moment was short lived. Sad? Not really. This is just the way it is in the writing business, or rather the I’m-an-amateur-writer-trying-to-get-his-foot-in-the-door business. That is all. Rejection: Little Blue Planet

This is the first rejection for this piece. It’s a flash fiction work that I sent to Neo-Opsis…and it got rejected. Yay! It’s off to AlienSkin now, since they’re a big flash fiction place. Anywhoodles! (Don’t click the read more, there isn’t any more after this!)
