Buy an Entry on The Histories

The Histories is a constantly evolving document which relies on the contributions of readers. Each entry you find on this wiki was purchased or expanded by someone for the wholesome price of $10. The sections below describe how to buy an entry or addition, what you can request (and what you get), how to make specific requests, and content guidelines for those requests.

How to Buy an Entry or Addition:

Each entry or addition to the wiki costs $10 USD, and you may request as many as you like.

There are currently four ways you can buy an entry in The Histories:

1. Paypal
2. Ko-Fi (one time donation or at least one month at $10)
3. Patreon / The Joy Factory (joining for at least one month at $10)
4. Venmo / @grandmoffduke

Use the method you prefer most.

What You Get:

When you purchase an entry in The Histories, you get a minimum of 500 words of unique content. Anyone may purchase an entry or addition to The Histories in one of the following categories:

• An Entry for Yourself
• An Entry for Someone Else (such as a friend or family member)
• An Expansion of an Entry (for yourself, a friend, a family member, or someone who is already on the wiki)
• A New Entry for a Topic (any subject mentioned in the wiki, including organizations, events, people, etc.)
• An Expansion of an Entry for a Topic (self-explanatory)

Additionally, you may request a private entry, which will only be delivered to you privately and will not be accessible to the public. Private entries make great gifts!

How to Make Specific Requests

Unless noted in a specific request, I will assume that any new purchase for The Histories will either involve creating an entry for the purchaser OR expanding some aspect of the purchaser's existing entry. However, if you do have specific requests, this section provides information on how to do so.

There are two ways you can make requests for entries on The Histories: sending a message with your purchase which explains what you want OR using the Special Requests form below.

Requests may include the following:

• You want me to write an entry someone other than yourself
• You want me to invent a person for you instead of using you has the model
• You want me to avoid certain subjects for the entry OR you want your entry to use a pseudonym for you
• You want to specify which entry or subject to expand on the wiki
• You want an entry that is private (i.e., not on the wiki) as a gift for yourself or someone else

These requests will be followed except where they conflict with the Content Guidelines listed below.

Content Guidelines

The entries on The Histories vary in tone from delightfully silly to dark and macabre. However, I do have some restrictions on the kind of content I will create and who I will create it for.

Here are some rough rules I will follow:

1. I will not write an entry for an individual who is not considered a public figure unless they have granted prior consent OR you are purchasing it as a gift to a known significant other. If you purchase an entry for someone else, they need to tell me that they have agreed to have one written. They can use the form below. (Note: this does not apply to expanding existing entries; anyone may expand an entry)
2. Similar to #1, I will not write entries for the purpose of abusing or harassing people. The Histories is a fun project which may include dark themes, but it is not a project designed to harm people. If I suspect you have purchased an entry for the purpose of abuse or harassment, I will not write the entry and I will keep your money. I may even donate that money to charity or give it to the person you sought to harm so they can buy a coffee while you sit at home thinking about your life decisions.
3. I will not write entries which imagine people as realistic monsters who engage in sexual violence, genocide, or torture (though I will write people as villains).
