Robin Hill, Antikythera Traveler (225 B.C.E.-???)

Born as Damia, Robin Hill is one of the six forgotten daughters of Peneleos, son of Xanthos, and Anthusa, daughter of Acrisius. Her origins were described in Gaius Julius Caesar's Libri Auspiciorum, a text presumed lost until rediscovered and hidden by the Heparthus Foundation in 2007. Hill was born in Byzantium during a thunder storm in 225 B.C.E. She was raised in the dockyards, where she spent her days secretly learning celestial navigation, ship design and maintenance, and other skills. Caesar also claims that she spoke with the god Apollo and was granted extraordinary intelligence; this is probably a fabrication.

At age 9, she joined her five other sisters in a naval adventure aboard a Roman merchant vessel, which they collectively seized off the coast of Gibraltar. For twelve years, Hill and her sisters developed a reputation in the Mediterranean for their swift and expert delivery of goods. They were raided only once by a Roman military vessel, which they promptly scuttled after tricking the vessel's captain to follow them into a rocky shoreline, where it tore its bulky hull against several rocks. This is believed by some scholars to mark the beginning of the Roman conquest of ancient Greece, though it is also possible that Greece's supply of Antik played a significant role. It is this mysterious substance which marked a dramatic change in Hill's life.

In 188 B.C.E., Hill and her sisters came upon a mysterious mine while exploring Mount Parnassus. Inside, they discovered enslaved miners uprooting a silver, near-liquid material which, according to Hill's writings, seemed to disrupt the space around it. Disgusted by the conditions of the mine, the sisters fought a grueling battle against the slave masters and freed the miners; in exchange, they requested access to the mysterious substance. The most mechanically-minded of her family, Hill took on the role of determining a use for the material.

For the next 30 years, Hill experimented with celestial navigation devices, weapons, ship designs, and other tools and materials in the hopes of finding a particular use for Antik. In one such experiment, she discovered that the material not only seemed to disrupt space but could also move objects across time. In 150 B.C.E., Hill unveiled the Antikythera Astrogator, the first known time traveling device on Earth. With her sisters, she used the device to explore a variety of time periods. Images of them show up at the first World's Fair in 1851, the 1936 Summer Olympics, and in every single episode of MTV's Beach House.

In 1992, Hill handed over her journals to the Washington Post, who have periodically shared details of her journeys. This includes her interactions with the Telatheum Empire, an extraterrestrial force expected to visit Earth in 2395, her role as the real Deep Throat during the Watergate scandal, her efforts to use the Maple Wars of North America to bring global stability in 2029, and several other incidents.

Hill's whereabouts remain unknown. In 1900, divers discovered the remains of Hill's Antikythera Astrogator; archaeologists have since spent over a century studying its secrets. It is unclear if Hill (and her sisters) lost the device during her travels or if she made a new one. Regardless, Athens currently holds an annual celebration in her honor. The event concludes with an open mic for Hill and her sisters should they ever return.
